Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trek is a prodigious trekking destination which is known for its landscape and cultural values. Talking about Langtang, it’s the classic settlement of Buddhist majority that has saved the century-old Nepalese culture and tradition in its purest form. The Helambu region also has beautiful villages. Also, the transition of tropical vegetation to temperate and then sub-alpine makes the landscape beautiful. Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trek offers stunning views mountains ranges as Ganesh Himal; Manaslu, Langtang Lirung I and II, Nagdi Himal and Nadgi Chuli, etc. Also, you will cross different rivers, streams, meadows, forests, and viewpoints during the trek.
Gosainkunda Lake is a sacred holy pilgrim where the followers of Hinduism and Buddhism perform their religious activities. Local people believe that taking a shower in Gosainkunda Lake washes all your pain, sins, and sorrow. Also, they claim to see the image of Lord Shiva in the button of the pond when the lake remains calm. There are other many lakes such as Bhairav Kund, Nag Kund, Surya Kund, Saraswati Kund, Bhut Kunda, Dudh Kund, etc. The lake is an altitude of 4,300m, thus it requires good physical condition and some previous trekking experience.
In this itinerary, we will begin the journey with a drive to Syabrubesi and then climb to Langtang valley. We will further walk to cross the Kyanjin Gompa, Ngegang, Dukpu, Tarkeghyang, e.t.c.

We will meet upon your arrival at Kathmandu at Tribhuwan International Airport.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, we will meet you and then transfer you to the hotel. During your leisure time, we will do the trip briefing and also complete the remaining formalities. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 2: Sightseeing tour around Kathmandu city
During the morning, we will visit the famous Pashupatinath Temple, which is an important Hindu pilgrimage site. Then afterward, we will also visit the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square area & the Boudhanath Stupa. These are the most popular attractions in Kathmandu valley. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 3: Drive to Syabrubensi (2720M), 7/8 hrs
After breakfast, we will start to drive from Kathmandu. About 6 hours of drive to Syabrubensi in a jeep/ bus is filled with beautiful scenes and adventure. During the evening, you can explore the area around the hotel. Overnight in Syabrubensi
Day 4: Trek to Lama Hotel (2416M), 5-6 hrs
First, we will cross the Bhote Koshi and then follow the Langtang Khola. This route gradually ascends to the Bamboo forest. Afterward, we gently trek down to Rimche, which lies at the bank of River Langtang. In our trail, we might encounter red pandas, monkeys, and bears. Overnight in Lama Hotel
Day 5: Trek Langtang Village (3330M), 5-6 hrs,
As we climb upwards, we will encounter occasional glimpses of Langtang ranges. At Ghora Tabela the route emerges from the forest and climbs gently. After passing some temporary settlement, we will witness a monastery before crashing at the village of Langtang. This village is Langtang National Park’s headquarter. Overnight in Langtang Village
Day 6: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3730M), 5-6 hrs
The route climbs through some villages and yak pastures before the valley fully opens to offer more extensive views. After crossing many moraines and small streams, we will settle at Kyangjin. Kyangjin has a small yet beautiful monastery and a government-operated cheese factory. Overnight in Kyanjing Gompa
Day 7: Acclimatize day around Kyanjing Gompa (3730M),
Kyangjin is a great place to acclimatize your body to the increasing altitude. Today, we shall explore the area and enjoy the view of glorifying peaks such as Langtang Ri (6370m), Dorje Larpa (6990m), Langtang Lirung (7245m), and so on.

Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2470m), 5-6 hrs
Today, we retrace your path towards Lama Hotel. As we cross the path that passes through the forests of Rhododendron and Juniper, we might encounter some wild animals like Himalayan Musk and Deer. If the weather is clear, the views of mountain Vista is clear from Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel
Day 09: Trek to Syabrugaon (1460m), 5-6 hrs
From Lama Hotel, it’s a steep climb between the forests of fir, rhododendron, and oak to the top of a ridge. Then after, we descent for a couple of hours before we stop for lunch. Today’s trail is short, but though as we move our shanks through the steep path. It’s about 1000m descent to Syabrugaon, which takes 5-6 hours. Overnight in Syabrugaon
Day 10: Trek to Sing Gompa (3330m), 5/6 hrs,
After a beautiful night in Syabrugaon, we will further climb to an altitude of 3330m. You need to stroll as there is a chance of getting altitude sickness. There is a very famous monastery over Sing Gompa that has great religious value. Overnight in Sing Gompa
Day 11: Trek to Gosainkunda (4380m), 6/7 hrs
After breakfast in the morning, we will cross the settlement of Chandanbari and Cholangpati. Then we will climb along the gradual hill and reach Laurebina. After some rest, we will continue our trail that leads to Gosainkunda in about 2-3 hours. For the evening, we will explore the areas around Gosainkunda and take beautiful pictures over the region. Day 12: Trek to Ghopte (3430m) via Gosainkunda Pass (4610m), 6/7 hrs
It’s the toughest day of our trek as we need to climb Gosainkunda Pass (4610m). After breakfast, we will trek for a couple of hours to reach the Pass. We will enjoy the beautiful landscape during the trek. Once you reach the top of Gosainkunda Pass, the views of surrounding mountain vista can mesmerize us. We then start to climb down to the settlement called Ghopte. Overnight in Ghopte
Day 13: Trek to Thadepati (3690m), 5/6 hrs,
After breakfast, we will begin our trek. Today’s trek is quite easy as the trail is rather straightforward. We will only climb the altitude of about 250m, which is an easy climb. Overnight in Thadepati
Day 14: Trek to Gul Bhanjyang (2130m), 6/7 hrs,
After a night in Thadepati, it’s all about descending as we walk closer to Kathmandu valley. As we enjoy the views of a beautiful mountain vista, we will descend for a few hours. We further walk to cross the thick forest of pine and rhododendron; we might spot a few wild lives during our trek. Overnight in Gul Bhanjyang
Day 15: Trek to Chisopani (2160m), 5/6 hrs
After breakfast, the trail leads all the way to Chisapani as we pass through the green forest of rhododendron and oak. Chisapani is a prodigious hill station known for the spectacular sunrise views. Even many internal tourists visit this beautiful place, the hilltop. So the place remains alive and crowded most of the time. Overnight in Chisapani
Day 16: Trek to Sundarijal (1460m), 4/6 hrs and drive to Kathmandu (1350m), 1 hrs,
Once we enjoy the beautiful sunrise view from Chisapani, we will descend to Sundarijal. Sundarijal is another popular trekking destination around the valley, which is loved for its spectacular landscape. From Sundarijal, we will drive to Kathmandu valley. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 17: Departure
As per your flight schedule, you will drop you over Tribhuvan Internation Airport and wave you a final goodbye.
