Langtang is a prodigious Ganjala pass Trekking destination that is known for its landscape and cultural values. Talking about trek to Langtang, it’s the classic settlement of Buddhist majority that has saved the century-old Nepalese culture and tradition in its purest form. Also, the transition of tropical vegetation to temperate and then sub-alpine makes the landscape beautiful. The trek offers stunning views mountains ranges as Ganesh Himal; Manaslu, Langtang Lirung I and II, Nagdi Himal and Nadgi Chuli, etc. Also, you will cross different rivers, streams, meadows, forests, and viewpoints during the trek.

Lake is a sacred holy pilgrim where the followers of Hinduism and Buddhism perform their religious activities. Local people believe that taking a shower in Gosainkunda Lake washes all your pain, sins, and sorrow. Also, they claim to see the image of Lord Shiva in the button of the pond when the lake remains calm. There are other many lakes such as Bhairav Kund, Nag Kund, Surya Kund, Saraswati Kund, Bhut Kunda, Dudh Kund, etc. The lake is at an altitude of 4,300m, thus, it requires good physical condition and some Trekking previous experience.

The major attraction of this trek is a high pass is Ganjala pass Trek (5130m), which is the highest point of our trek to langtang. In this itinerary, we will begin the journey with a drive to Syabrubesi and then climb to Langtang valley. We will further walk to cross Kyanjin Gompa, Ngegang, Dukpu, Tarkeghyang, Kakani e.t.c. before we drive to Kathmandu valley.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, we will meet you and then transfer you to the hotel. During your leisure time, we will do the trip briefing and also complete the remaining formalities. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 2: Sightseeing tour around Kathmandu city
During the morning, we will visit the famous Pashupatinath Temple, which is an important Hindu pilgrimage site. Then afterward, we will also visit the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square area & the Boudhanath Stupa. These are the most popular attractions in Kathmandu valley. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 3: Drive to Syabrubensi (2720M), 7/8 hrs
After breakfast, we will start to drive from Kathmandu. About 6 hours of drive to Syabrubensi in a jeep/ bus is filled with beautiful scenes and adventure. During the evening, you can explore the area around the hotel. Overnight in Syabrubensi
Day 4: Trek to Lama Hotel (2416M), 5-6 hrs
First, we will cross the Bhote Koshi and then follow the Langtang Khola. This route gradually ascends to the Bamboo forest. Afterward, we gently trek down to Rimche, which lies at the bank of River Langtang. In our trail, we might encounter red pandas, monkeys, and bears. Overnight in Lama Hotel
Day 5: Trek Langtang Village (3330M), 5-6 hrs,
As we climb upwards, we will encounter occasional glimpses of Langtang ranges. At Ghora Tabela the route emerges from the forest and climbs gently. After passing some temporary settlement, we will witness a monastery before crashing at the village of Langtang. This village is Langtang National Park’s headquarter. Overnight in Langtang Village
Day 6: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3730M), 5-6 hrs
The route climbs through some villages and yak pastures before the valley fully opens to offer more extensive views. After crossing many moraines and small streams, we will settle at Kyangjin. Kyangjin has a small yet beautiful monastery and a government-operated cheese factory. Overnight in Kyanjing Gompa
Day 7: Acclimatize day around Kyanjing Gompa (3730M),
Kyangjin is a great place to acclimatize your body to the increasing altitude. Today, we shall explore the area and enjoy the view of glorifying peaks such as Langtang Ri (6370m), Dorje Larpa (6990m), Langtang Lirung (7245m), and so on. Overnight in Kyanjing Gompa
Day 8: Trek to Ngegang (4430M), 5-6 hrs,
We will cross the Langtang River below Kyanjin and climb through a forest of juniper and rhododendron. At this point, we will reach the high Himalaya area, which has only a little natural vegetation. After several hours of walk, the route reaches the yak pasture area of Ngegang. Overnight in Ngegang
Day 9: Trek to Ganja-La Pass (5130m) and then to Keldang (4270M), 7-8 hrs
Today is the tough day of our trek. The route continues south, climbing steeply towards the pass. Ganja-La Pass is among the steepest pass of the region, which has snowy ice most of the time. But the view from the top is worth the hard walk. Once we cross the pass, we will have a good amount of rest, and then the trail descends steeply to Yangri Khola Valley. Day 10: Trek to Dukpu (4040M), 5-6 hrs
Today the trail descends along grassland and ridge, offering the fantastic views of Mountain ranges and the surrounding natural beauties. We cross the small settlements of Helambu and then trek to Dukpu. Overnight in Dukpu
Day 11: Trek to Tarkeghyang (2740M), 5-6 hrs,
After breakfast, we first descend from Dukpu and then climb to cross a pass, which offers the spectacular views of Annapurna, Mt. Everest ranges, and the native mountains. The path climbs down towards Gekye Gompa and then to the settlement of Tarkeghyang. Here, we can visit the oldest Buddhist monastery in the region. Overnight in Tarkeghyang
Day 12: Trek to Sermathang (8497ft), 6-7 hrs,
Today, it’s an easy walk through the flat land. We will walk through the small forest that offers the view of the charming Helambu village. Then we will cross the villages as Parachin and Gangyul of Khumbu region and then reach Sermathang. It’s a pretty Sherpa village with many ancient monasteries and beautiful landscapes. Day 13: Trek to Kakani (1996m)- 3/4 hours
This is the most comfortable day of our trek. After morning breakfast, we will begin our trek from Sermanthang. The trail slowly descends and takes us to Kakani. For the rest of the day, we will explore the regions around Kakani. Overnight in Kakani
Day 14: Trek to Melamchi Bazaar and then drive to Kathmandu (1350M), 3-4 hrs of a walk, 3-4 hrs of drive
After early morning breakfast, the route descends to Melamchi Bazaar. After crossing several meadows and cultivated fields, we will reach Melamchi Bazaar. From here, we will take a drive to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 15: Departure

Day 4
